GPS Is Now Available for Shearwater Air-Integrated Dive Computers
Starting December 1st, 2025, Shearwater divers can unlock reliable surface location tracking on their existing air-integrated computers with the all-new Swift GPS transmitter.
Instead of releasing a single new GPS-enabled model, Shearwater created a solution that works with a much larger community of divers. The Swift GPS lets you use your current Shearwater computer to accurately record and log your dive entry and exit points, making every adventure easier to track and relive.
The Swift GPS pairs seamlessly with the new Dive Shearwater app, also launching December 1st. Inside the app, divers will find a clean, modern interface and powerful new mapping tools—including interactive maps attached to every dive log.
Compatible Dive Computers:
Peregrine TX, Tern TX, Teric, Perdix 2, Perdix AI, Petrel 3, NERD 2
(Firmware update required.)
Teric firmware release will be launched in the coming weeks.
Features
When the dive log is transferred to Dive Shearwater, the log will display:
• Your dive location on a map
• A location name (if available)
• Entry and exit coordinates
• A world view of all your dive log locations
• If a user has multiple transmitters, only 1 needs to be GPS.
